RADAR STATION FOR RECONNAISSANCE OF GROUND TARGETS OF THE FAR ZONE "LIS-2M"

The Ground-Based Radar Reconnaissance Station for ground and surface targets is designed to protect land and water sections of the state border, military and administrative facilities (warehouses, nuclear power plants, residences of important persons, etc.) in all weather conditions in the absence of optical visibility. The device provides detection and identification of targets in automatic mode using non-parametric algorithms that allow you to get rid of marks of erroneous targets, regardless of interference.

Capabilities:

- maintenance of a target forum with indication of the number, range, azimuth and feature (person - transport) with reference to the map of the area;

- color coding of targets with assignment of a number to each target;

- input of a digital map of the area;

- creation of a radar network in combination with video cameras and thermal imagers for accurate identification of detected targets;

- the mode of automatic determination of the speed of any of the identified targets;

- listening by the operator to the characteristic sound coloring of the target spectrum (person, group, vehicle, helicopter, etc.).

The basic version of the implementation provides for the installation of the radar on a fixed base horizontally. It is possible to supply a stabilization platform that allows the use of a radar in a mobile version for rapid deployment with installation on a vehicle (armored personnel carrier, infantry fighting vehicle, car). In the future, this allows automatic leveling of the antenna system according to the readings of the built-in accelerometric horizon sensors when the vehicle is stopped. The rotation of the antenna of the system, including its leveling, is carried out by piezoelectric, gearless, reversible electric motors capable of self-braking.
